Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez has been increasing his influence in Latin America over the past years with the support of his Oil Dollars. He dreams of a united South America to counter the power of the North. His great example is Simon Bolivar that united Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela in their battle against the Spanish. His excentric behaviour has done his dreams more harm than good and his power in Venezuela seems to be crumbling due to bad political and economic management. Will his Bolivarian dream turn out to be a nightmare for South America?
